Quadrillion Labs, Inc. (“Quadrillion,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Qualia platform and related services available at https://quadrillion.io/ (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
• Payment Information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information (such as credit card number, billing address, and related details) is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor (currently Stripe or a similar provider). We do not directly collect, store, or have access to your full payment card information.
• User Content. When using Qualia in cloud (online) mode, you may upload files, data, code, notebooks, and other content to the Service (“User Content”). In local deployment mode, your User Content remains on your own infrastructure and is not transmitted to us.
• Communications. If you contact us for support or other purposes, we may collect the content of your communications and any information you choose to provide.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use our Service, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

• Log and Usage Data. Information about how you interact with the Service, such as access times, pages or features viewed, and actions taken within the Service.
• Device Information. Information about the device you use to access the Service, including hardware model, operating system and version, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
• IP Address. Your Internet Protocol address, which may be used to infer approximate geographic location.
• Cookies and Similar Technologies. We may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service and to understand usage patterns. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Providing the Service. To create and manage your account, process transactions, deliver the features and functionality of Qualia, and provide customer support.
• Improving the Service. To understand how users interact with our Service, diagnose technical issues, and develop new features and improvements.
• Communications. To send you service-related notices (such as account verification, billing, and changes to our terms or policies) and, where permitted, to respond to your inquiries and support requests.
• Security and Fraud Prevention. To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other harmful activities, and to protect the rights and safety of Quadrillion and our users.
• Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests.

Use of Data for Service Improvement and Model Training. We may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data derived from your use of the Service — including usage patterns, workflow interactions, and feature engagement — to improve, develop, and train our AI models and algorithms. Where we use User Content (such as code, notebooks, or research data) for model training or service improvement purposes, we will do so only with your consent or on an opt-in basis. Enterprise customers may negotiate separate data use terms that restrict or prohibit the use of their data for training purposes. You may opt out of having your User Content used for model training at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@quadrillion.io. Opting out will not affect the functionality of the Service available to you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers. We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
• Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or government request.
• Protection of Rights. We may disclose information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our Terms of Service, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored within the United States. We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

When using Qualia in local deployment mode, your data remains on your own infrastructure and is not stored on our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. User Content is deleted upon your request and may take up to 30 days to be fully removed from our active systems. Copies may persist in backup systems for a limited period following deletion. Upon account termination, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with this policy, except to the extent we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Account Information

You may update or correct your account information at any time by logging into your account. You may delete your account and request deletion of your User Content by contacting us at support@quadrillion.io. Deletion of User Content may take up to 30 days to complete.

7.2 Communications Preferences

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. You will continue to receive service-related communications necessary for the operation of your account.

7.3 Rights for Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you may have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR, as applicable:

• Access. The right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification. The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Erasure. The right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain exceptions.
• Restriction. The right to request that we restrict processing of your personal data.
• Portability. The right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
• Objection. The right to object to our processing of your personal data.
• Withdrawal of Consent. Where we rely on consent as a legal basis, the right to withdraw consent at any time.

7.4 Rights for Users in China

If you are located in China, you may have rights under the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), including rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, as well as the right to withdraw consent. 8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 9. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

10. Open Source Software

Our Service incorporates open source software components, including libraries licensed under the BSD License (such as Jupyter). Use of these components is subject to their respective license terms, which are available in the acknowledgements section of our application.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, where our servers are located.
